The synovial structures of the M. fibularis longus in the cat, dog, pig, ox, sheep and goat
The synovial structures of the M. fibularis longus were studied by dissection on 23 cat, 28 dog, 20 pig, 17 ox, 15 sheep and 17 goat limbs. Five injections with Technovit into the tarsometatarsal joint were made for each species. The dog had two tendon sheaths while all other species had only one lateral one. The mesotendon approached the tendon from the medial aspect and was fenestrated in the dog (here only in the proximal segment), pig, sheep, and goat, but in the cat and ox the fenestration was inconstant. In the area of the lateral malleolus the lateral tendon sheath narrowed (in the dog only in the proximal segment). The synovial structures on the plantar aspect in the cat, dog, pig, and sheep were formed by a recess of the tarsometatarsal joint; while in the ox and goat they formed a tendon sheath that took its origin from the same joint. The plantar recess surrounded the tendon three quarters of the way in the dog, and in cat, pig, and sheep only half way. Nomenclatorial consequences for the NAV are discussed.

Zusammenfassung
Weitere Untersuchungen des Glaskörpers zeigen, bei welchen Tierarten die verschiedenen Bauprinzipien vorkommen.
Der Glaskörper des Schweins und des Schafes hat das gleiche Bauprinzip wie derjenige des Rindes. Der Glaskörper vom Hund ist ähnlich strukturiert wie bei der Katze. Der Glaskörper des Kaninchens konnte wegen seiner geringen Konsistenz kaum dargestellt werden. Der Glaskörper von Macaca speciosa ist ähnlich gebaut wie beim Menschen.
Die sichtbaren Glaskörperstrukturen sind offensichtlich keine Zufallsprodukte; vielmehr hat jede Tierart eine spezifische Struktur, so daß man allein aufgrund des Glaskörperaspektes eine Spezies identifizieren kann.
Slit-lamp examination of unfixed vitreous in sheep, pigs, dogs, apes and rabbits
Examinations of other animals show a variety of different structural patterns. The vitreous of the pig and of the sheep have a structure similar to cattle. The vitreous of the dog is similar to the cat. The vitreous of the rabbit is of very low density and could scarsely be examined. The vitreous of Macaca speciosa is similar to the human.
Thus the various animal groups have distinctive characteristics which permit their identification by their vitreous patterns.

NEWS aus der Region Salzburg – Hund wütete in Schafstall und biss ein Tier tot
Diese Schlagzeile habe ich heute in der online Ausgabe der „Salzburger Nachrichten“ gelesen. Und hier der Artikel:
eugendorf (SN) „Zu einem ungewöhnlichen Einsatz auf einem Bauernhof wurde die Polizei am Donnerstag in Eugendorf gerufen. Ein frei laufender Hund war in den Schafstall eingedrungen und hatte ein Schaf durch Bisse getötet. Drei weitere Tiere wurden schwer verletzt und mussten genäht werden. Mehrere Schafe wiesen weniger schwere Bisswunden auf, mussten aber allesamt ebenfalls vom Tierarzt versorgt werden. Der Hund war einer Nachbarin entlaufen und danach in den offenen Schafstall gelangt. Es besteht der Verdacht der unzureichenden Hundehaltung.“

Und somit hat es wieder einmal (leider) einen “Zwischenfall” mit einem „vermutlich“ nicht artgerecht gehaltenen Hund gegeben. Man kann aus dem Bericht nicht herauslesen um welchen Hund es sich hier gehandelt hat. Weiterhin auch nicht ob „der Verdacht der unzureichenden Hundehaltung“ tatsächlich zutrifft. Das spielt auch keine Rolle.
Tatsache ist, daß es sich hierbei nicht um ein simples Jagdverhalten gehandelt haben muss, denn der Hund hat, wie ich es den Zeilen entnehme, gleich mehrere Tiere in scheinbarer Tötungsabsicht attackiert.
Ich bin wieder einmal zutiefst erschrocken! Wie kann das heutzutage in unserer aufgeklärten Zivilisation passieren? Ein Hund reisst nicht einfach so von zu Hause aus, dringt in einen Bauernhof ein und tötet „mir nichts dir nichts“ aus Spaß ein Tier bzw. versucht mehrere Tiere zu töten.
Falls der Verdacht der nicht artgerechten Haltung bestätigt wird, stelle ich mir weiterhin folgende Fragen: Hat hier denn niemand bereits im Vorfeld gesehen, wie dieses Tier gehalten wurde? Hat hier tatsächlich niemand einen Amtstierarzt kontaktiert und auf diesen Hund hingewiesen? Haben hier wieder einmal all die Nachbarn den Mund gehalten und weggeschaut? Genau diese, die dann behaupten schon lange darauf gewartet zu haben, daß dieser Hund einmal „zuschlägt“? Man weiß es nicht. Und somit ist dieser Artikel für mich auch mehr eine Warnung und soll uns aufrütteln.
Gestern war es „nur“ ein Schaf. Was hätte denn dieser Hund gemacht, wenn dieser „freilaufende Hund“ auf seiner Tour auf ein Kind gestoßen wäre und dieses als Beute wahrgenommen hätte? Ich mag es mir nicht vorstellen, denn auch mein Kind ist oftmals in Eugendorf unterwegs und spielt im Freien mit anderen Kindern.
Der Besitzerin wird nun wohl der Hund entzogen werden, davon ist auszugehen, weiterhin wird sie sicherlich zu einer Geldstrafe verurteilt werden. Und das waren dann die Konsequenzen.
Lässt es sich aber vermeiden das diese Dame sich wieder einen Hund anschafft und diesen ebenfalls sich selbst überlässt?
Die Tatsache, daß mit 1.1.2013 der „Hundeführerschein“ in Salzburg eingeführt wurde lässt mich hoffen, daß einige dieser Hundehalter künftig bereits im Vorfeld reduziert werden. Aber unterbinden lässt sich diese Haltung niemals, denn der „Hundeführerschein“ ist lediglich ein Dokument, welches bei der Anmeldung des Hundes auf der Gemeinde vorgelegt werden muss um offiziell die Hundesteuer zahlen zu dürfen.
Zwischen dem natürlichen und genetisch fixiertem Jagdverhalten, welches unterschiedlich ausgeprägt sein kann, und der Tötung eines Tieres liegen wiederum Welten. Hetzen und Jagen sind Eigenschaften die für so manchen Hundehalter ein echtes Problem darstellen können, und welche unbedingt PROFESSIONELL korrigiert werden müssen.
Ein Hund, der jedoch völlig auf sich alleine gestellt ist, der weder sozialisiert ist und auch keinerlei Wärme und Nähe erfährt, der keine Grenzen und Regeln kennt, wird diesen natürlichen Jagdtrieb immer mehr ausbauen und schließlich solche Attacken ausführen.

Doch trotz allem schlummert auch noch heute tief im Innern unseres beliebtesten Haustieres, die Jagdeigenschaft seines Urvaters – dem Wolf – und wie ich heute lesen durfte, ist dieses auch am Donnerstag in Eugendorf wieder zum Vorschein gekommen.
Ich fordere euch von tiefstem Herzen auf mit offenen Augen durch die Welt zu gehen, und auch nur bei dem geringsten Verdacht einer nicht artgerechten Hundehaltung zu reagieren, denn wie gesagt: „am Donnerstag war es nur ein Schaf!“
